Stacy Millman | Principal, RA, AIA, NCARB

As the founder of SKM Architecture and Design, Stacy takes pride in building her practice entirely through referrals — a testament to the relationships she forges with every client. She listens carefully, working closely with each family to ensure their home reflects their individual tastes and needs.

With a background spanning architecture, interior design, and art history, Stacy brings a holistic perspective that sets her apart. This breadth allows her to engage thoughtfully with every aspect of a project — from site analysis and exterior design to interior spaces and finishes. 

Prior to founding SKM in 2004, Stacy honed her skills at award-winning firms in NYC. She began her career at BBG-BBGM, contributing to the design of luxury hotels and spas around the world, before joining 1100 Architect as a project architect, where she led the design and execution of multi-million-dollar residential projects throughout New York City.

Outside the studio, Stacy enjoys playing tennis and spending time with her husband, Chad, their two sons, and their schnoodle.

Stacy is a registered architect licensed in Connecticut and holds a Master of Architecture from Parsons School of Design, where she received the AIA/AAF Scholarship for Academic Excellence and the AIA Henry Adams Award recognizing top-ranking architecture students. She also earned a Bachelor of Arts in Art History from the University of Michigan.

Nathalie Vallier Broadhead | ATELIER d'Architecture, D.P.L.G. (France)

Nathalie grew up in France where she received a baccalaureate and a French Architecture license. She attended Architecture school at L’Ecole d’Architecture de Paris Val de Seine (Universite de Paris IV).

Nathalie received her Architect D.P.L.G. government license and degree in 2000 with the jury’s award. Soon after, Nathalie moved to Washington, D.C, where she worked for a Civil engineering firm as a designer. She moved to New York City, and later to Warren, Connecticut where she gained experience designing residential projects in New England at local Architecture offices. She opened her firm in 2012, Atelier d’Architecture LLC.  Since 2019, Nathalie has collaborated with SKM Design.
